Diablo 3 Season 33 Shadow Clone Levelling - Is It Worth It?

Diablo 3 season 33 is coming soon. Is it worth it to farm shrines on Torment 6 (T6) to try and level fast? I think you can use it, but be wary of running out of gear and stats. I might go and look for them after around level 60-65 but will level normally until then I think.

From memory, I think maybe getting a legendary item can boost the shadow clone power whilst levelling (but I haven't tested yet on PTR). Although I have levelled to 70 several times without getting a legendary item. Of course you could try visions to boost legendary chances, but I do wonder if the best play is to just level the normal way. What do you guys think?

Rax has a video back from season 22, I'm gonna try his shadow clone strat (with cache). Level DH to 18, get diamond, wear L70 gear and do bounties etc to progress haedrigs gifts.

If you’re using the cache and doing the level 18 diamond trick to fully gear your character with level 70 items the shadow clone would just mess with your massacre clearing the screen every time you hit a pylon/shrine.

Monk will be the One who can use the Shadow Clone method! As he/she is naturally come with good skills and passive compare to others.

In summary...you don't need a seasonal cheese strat for leveling if you just start with Necro, because they have a superior cheese strat built-in to the class. 🤣

Hey when you get lvl 70 with the necro do you instantly make a new charachter to do the season journey?

I’d be interested to see how it would work with getting to 16 to access the gems with the Necro, then switch to the Class you want.

My recent levelling has been run off and do a T1 bounty with the Necro, and get to lvl 16. Get the DB from the bounty to level the Blacksmith. Then switch to the DH.

If I haven’t accessed the cube run off and do that, but the idea was to get the lv 70 gear 1st. It seems as though getting 16 super quick in under 2 mins can be a double edge sword

Is it just me or the shadow clone is so xtremely underwhelming for a season point.
I love the ethereal weapons and a whole season about a 1 minute shrine buff seems very meh
