People who criticize him now aren't old enough to see and witness this era and can never understand how good he truly was.
Respect for him.🔥🔥

A lot of people don't know how good ronaldo was. He was worldclass since sporting. He lacked the end product but his dribbling and decision making was always world class.

We've seen Adriano's career spiral out of control after his father's death. The fact that Ronaldo accomplished a majority of his achievements after his father's death speaks volumes about Ronaldo's drive and character.

As a Greek that was a 15 year old boy back then, the image of grown ass men crying like babies and the festivities that followed, is something that I will forever keep close to my heart. I remember crying for 10 minutes straight when we scored on the semi final against Czech Republic. Almost 20 years later, I still get goosebumps and tear up when I see footage of the 2004 Euros. And this video brought me the same feelings. Well done Lucas, you absolute legend...

I'll be honest, was never a Ronaldo fan, but the one thing I never denied was that he was a brilliant player who could work magic on the pitch.
I think if I had followed that phenomenon from the beginning of his journey I'd be lavishing praise from here to Mars on him, but guess it is just what it is.
He's undeniably a legend, that's for sure.

Great video.

I think people born a little later try to pretend everything before 2019 didn’t happen. This man was doing amazing things for a long time among a golden generation of footballers. An era where every team in every league had an elite footballer somewhere on the pitch.

Fucking hell you got me crying hard.
It is amazing how you put it, the whole story, so dramatically and with such emotion. I was always a fan of Messi but still had respect for Christiano Ronaldo. But today you showed me why Ronaldo is Ronaldo. Why he is how he is.

He will win again. The amount of sacrifice he's done. There's something for him in the cosmos. He is my inspiration and every ounce of hard work I put into my work is all because I look to this man and said how could a person is so determined to achieve success? How could he force himself to work on a regular basis, how did he motivate himself everyday!

And then, Portugal was the Greece of France. With Ronaldo off right at the start of the match.

There's some poetic justice right there.

From a Greek witnessing these tears on that day, It was really strange for me. I had an over joyous feeling with the win but I actually loved the Portuguese team and I always knew Ronaldo was going to be a big star. I had a home made poster of that actual moment of him crying with quotations "I wish I was Greek" for years in my shop. CR7 won in the long run, he is in my opinion the greatest footballer of all time, an absolute stud and legend of the sport. Let's not forget that Otto put on a coaching master class. I'll finish with a quote "IMPOSIBLE IS NOTHING"

Today's kid don't know how talent an entertainer was young cr7. He was everything a completely beast. Who fits in every position, changed his playing style in every 4 to 5 years...Still at the age of 38 he is still bursting net. He is the one who motivates every young generation on the ground and off the ground..is the perfect example of hardwork with a combination of talent, i love him till i die.❤❤❤

Hearing how hard this man works on himself to better his craft makes my love for him to grow more stronger than it already is.

Something about 2004 is such a coincedence that greece won the euros, porto won the cl and the pistons won the NBA finals, all regarded as probably the best defensive teams in history

Alot of people were stating that they hate Ronaldo due to this ego but remember...

This man went through alot, like *alot.* and after all of this his confidence is still in another world like no other.People don't understand what Ronaldo went through.Nowadays if people experience Ronaldo's harshful struggles, They would probably just cry out loud, stay in bed for the whole day and act like a cry out loud in the internet, But nonetheless Ronaldo still work hard after all of this. All of this also applied to Messi.

You must give this man some respect, He had did so much in Football.
