Yachae Jook - That Good Korean Vegetable Porridge

Hi guys! Today this video is going to be quick, simple and very tasty! This Korean dish is a staple among the culture and although there are many different versions, today we are sticking with the veggie version!

This dish is amazing in terms of the natural flavor it provides while adding minimal seasonings to it. This is good for a cold day or if you are not feeling very well and want something easy on the stomach! It's also just very good to eat if you like rice and veggies!

I hope you enjoy and I plan to make more short and simple videos very soon!

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 zucchini cubed (can use whole)
1/2 carrot cubed (can use whole)
1/2 onion diced (can use whole)
2-4 shiitake mushrooms cubed
1 cup of cooked mochi riced (sweet sticky)
2 cups of water
Strips of Gim or seaweed or topping
Sesame oil for topping
Sesame seeds for topping

Anything that starts out with sesame oil and garlic it’s OK in my book. Those are the flavors to my heart
