I don't know why I had such a difficult time with these problems. They seem so simple now. Thank you for the video!

Hello, Great video Do you have the answers for the second vector problem ?

if i add up the vectors using cosine law to check... what would be the angle between

I calculated the vector component to be <154.12, 461.03> S of W.. The ground speed to be 486.07mph... & the direction of travel to be 71.52deg S of W.. Is that correct??

also how would this angle ( between the 2 sides be obtaind ) ( a very broken down step by step visual and explanation would greatly help since the part i confuse is were to place the angles and finding the contained angle

hey can  you please show me how to do a similar question
-airplane travelling 150 km/h, 25 degrees east of north
-wind 65 km/h south

Yeah he made a mistake! Right from the beginning...the fifteen degrees of the airplane vector is being applied from the east [ positive x-axis]. Not from the vector rotation from the northern [ positive y- ] axis!

The first half is good, but once you start adding x and y vectors I believe you mixed them up. THIS IS NOT THE ERROR YOU ALREADY STATED IN THE VIDEO.

Velocity in the X is wrong because you didn't sum the x components. Same for Y.

Disaster! This pilot mixes up his numbers HALF way through the problem & comes up with incorrect results. I WISH PEOPLE WOULD CHECK THERE WORK. 574.73 NOT 547.73!!! Jeesh...
