Can you walk us through with an example how due to the squaring effect ridge regression won't shrink the slope zero? And also how by using the absolute value in Lasso regression the slope can be shrinked to zero?

What if in the model I used there's no change in MSE, RMSE, MAE and R2 after I did lasso or ridge regression? What can I interpret from it?
