finally someone that is actually neutral. I just hated the brainwashed idiots screaming "lebron DESTROYED germany", despite the fact that Lebron (as US top scorer) only had 2 points more than the german top scorer, plus the fact that the game ended with only a 4 point difference. Calling that "destroying" is just stupid. Of course the US will be a top contender for the title, no doubt about that. I just hate the absolute hubris some American YouTubers have.

Well, as a German, I am absolutely proud of how our team played against these „superstars“. Yes we lost the game, but they played as a team and with all their hearts. If I would be an American, I wouldn’t act (like the US players) as if I had won the gold medal after such a close game… USA send their best 😂 to show the world who is the big dog… but it seams like there is no real gap at all between USA and the rest of the world… didn’t you come to show us who is the boss?

Team USA has won. Germany has lost. Period. There is no discussion about that. But how Germany lost, that's the point. Only 4 points behind. That makes a huge difference psychologically for both teams. USA: “That was close! We have to be careful or they'll beat us”. Germany: “That was close! We lost, but now we know we can beat them”. Anyone who says “the point difference in a win doesn't make any difference” has never played basketball or simply doesn't want to admit that this game proved that Team USA is far from being unbeatable.
