Mr. Cavett is still alive, and Mr. Cavett met so many great people from the 20th century. I hope folks today are interviewing him before he also passes into the great beyond to be with all of our ancestors.

As kid in the early 70s I had no idea what was going on with this show. Today it’s amazing to watch. Hitch was a fucking brilliant mind.

🔹️ That music at the end is so 1970's - but I love it, brings back some very fond memories of that era 👀👍❕

Alfred Joseph Hitchcock (Londres, 13 de agosto de 1899-Los Ángeles, 29 de abril de 1980) fue un director de cine,  productor y guionista británico. I was stoked and hoping you were going to show that scene with Martin Balsam... I love Alfred Hitchcock . When I was really little I used to stay up and watch his TV show and even though I usually couldn't comprehend what was going on ; it always creeped me out and I should never have been left alone to watch that when I was so little .
Well I remember the most that freaked me out was about some wax figures in someone's basement of their shop or something and whenever I would go in the basement of my mother's house it was as if I was in that scene and I was so horrified because I could feel those wax figures coming alive and waiting to overpower me.
Another one that creeped me out was the one about an exclusive Gastronomy Club and someone is asked to be the special guest .
Alfred Hitchcock was definitely unique and set a standard because he was able to make a person feel horrified without much bloodshed .

I have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rarities much like the other videos around here.

Dick Cavett is like the sum of all the people in YouTube comments that recount having met a certain celebrity

Only question why they not put the whole show? Just segments?
