Back at my high school we have a tradition; only a senior gets the woodslap part, though the part may be small, the woodslap part is so satisfying to play and hear that it makes up for it's small size tenfold.

My whole career I’ve played this as a 2nd & 3rd clarinet. This is my first year in my 12 years of playing clarinet that I’ve been assigned 1st clarinet on this piece. Wish me luck🥲

I had so much fun playing sleigh ride when i was in high school. It's a tradition to play sleigh ride every winter concert! and we actually sounded pretty good :)
