could be rebranding or a quick break for child idols which is honestly smart. vcha has a good song formula and talented members though. they could also be holding out on kaylee returning.

I was also curiously waiting to see what’s happening because all of a sudden because their YouTube shorts randomly stopped. I hope JYPE doesn’t do anything bad.

I think they messed up calling for artists at such a young age, this may work in Korea, but I don't think US audiences are comfortable seeing kids so young work as performers at this level (I think rightfully so considering our bad history of child performers having troubled lives as they grow up). Every time they would post, especially Kaylee, all the comments would be saying she's too young for the group. Most of US popstars/musicians are only successful at young adulthood now, and to see teen stars catering to audiences that aren't primarily kids as well isn't as common (though it still does happen like Olivia Rodrigo or Billie Eilish). I love all the girls' talent though and hope that they continue their careers even if this group doesn't work out.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was some internal issues happening within the group. Not anything scandal worthy, I just don't see how a bunch of girls in the range of 17-19 can vibe with a 14 year old. Theres bound to be clashes with the distinct maturity level. Not to mention it limits the other older girls with what they can do because of having such a young member. I wonder if Kaylee's hiatus were more because of mental health issues as the industry can be way too harsh for someone that young.

I feel like they're rebranding. With all these global groups about to debut, I think JYP is trying to mature their concept a bit to make them universal. With Kaylee on hiatus, the other youngest member is then 17 years old. And by mature, I mean from Likey/Dalla Dalla to Fancy/Yes or Yes/chesire mature, a subtle shift in style with the group identity still intact.

Update of VCHA: KG has left VCHA due to the mistreatment they had been suffering and however one member was trying to commit suicide by eating 42 pills 💊 (I heard when I was watching a video of VCHA).

I think it is just a regular break . The band have not disbanded because they are still uploading birthday messages and pictures for their birthdays and also they’ve only been inactive for 4months which is a regular time to not have a comeback we just need to be patient and not worry also they could be waiting for Kaylee to fully recover and come back from hiatus so that she’s present in their nest comeback but this could all just be a publicity stunt to get more hype around the group however I do think them cancelling lallapolozza is a bit odd ..

This is making me think of how i havent heard any mention of lapillus in a while. I never even stanned them but i just thought of them randomly the other day and i looked into it and apparently, MLD has abandonded the Lapillus trademark and Chanty has been put on indefinite hiatus for chronic fatigue i believe. 😬

yeah if definitely seems weird.. their insta is practically dead, their youtube channel hasnt posted anything in months... they havent even posted a notice about kaylee's hiatus plans or the cancelled lolla performance.. (tho i kind of understand why they would cancell lolla, they literally have 8 songs rn and i dont think thats enough for a 45 min set. but like at least release a statement about it... ) this management really doesnt work.
and the fact that the jyp team has probably seen this going viral but still has not posted reels or a statement or apology.. there is definitely something going on. whether it is vcha possibly disbanding or vcha preparing for a possible mini album, we dont know.
