Late August (warm QLD climates) and September (other areas in AUS) are ideal times to apply Acelepryn.
Acelepryn is the safer choice when it comes to insecticides it is exempt from poison scheduling making it ideal for the home use.
September is an ideal time to apply Acelepryn or Acelepryn GR to give you season long control on turf pests.

Top video with clear straight forward advice. I’ve been renovating my house for a few years now, and at last after looking at red dusty clay here in the Redlands QLD I have prepared the ground and laid TifTuf 3 weeks ago, which is taking very well. I put down the acelepryn too…but think I may have gone a little heavy on the rate? 800 grams on 60 mtrs…left it over night and watered in well the next day. I plan on top dressing this weekend with quality blend of sand to fill the dips in the lawn, as I want to end up with a flat 10mm lawn…also I dropped the old Steelfort made Lawnmaster 500 that I restored some years back to Brisbane Cylinder Mowers for a grind. I guess I’ll have to rotary cut for a while until the top dress is fully settled and cover so it doesn’t stuff my new sharpened reel? Next I’ve got to rip up the street street of my property as it just totally full of everything else but grass…and I will cylinder mow this too as I don’t want to mix in and different grass into the TifTuf so I’ll lay TifTuf out there before summer hits.
I’ve subscribed to your channel and will go through you past videos and new ones as I see you will be able to help me get into having a great lawn at t he end of the day - cheers 👍

i purchased a 10kg bag and have about 230 sqm of lawn and almost used it all. Couldn't figure out my setting for the scotts spreader. The product just flow out so quickly?? Scotts® EasyGreen Broadcast Fertiliser Spreader, the one on wheels. Any idea what setting to use and or how much product i should use for my size lawn?

I just put down acelepryn yesterday and afterwards I worked out I only put down the lower rate of 750g/100m2, wasn't intentional, just had spreader setting a bit too low, I wanted to put down 1.5kg/100m2. So I was going to do another pass but then it started raining so I couldn't put down any more. I won't get another chance until a few days to apply more, what I'm wondering is, does it make any difference if you put down half one day like I have and then the other half a few days later? Will it have the same effect as if you apply it all in one go?
