It's a great attitude to take because as far as I can see, worse case scenario is that you have a stack of Lego to play with. It also makes great gifts for family as it's timeless for children.

nice video. to be honest i think you were quite lucky (or had good foresight) when selecting the batman and the friends appartement sets. but buying so few different sets was quite a risky move due to low diversification. the bd-1 at 130$ seems a bit high to me, it sold closer to 110USD on ebay. after shipping and fees not much is left.

Extremely risky to invest $10, 000 in only 3 LEGO sets if you ask me. I guess you just to be lucky with those 3 sets.
