That's what I'm doing. More social media. More funnel building and building email lists. Google cant lower the traffic on your email list.

I also noticed that Google analytics doesn't match what Bing analytics shows..according to Bing, hardly any changes compared to prior to the update ( on my site data) 🤔

I've just checked Google analytics for past 7 days and I'm glad to say things are starting to improve on my site. Both clicks & impressions are going up, so fingers crossed we are all going to regain what we lost🤞🤔

My only site is down 50% and doesn't look good. Most of the snippets are gone and keep dropping. Seems like it stopped dropping today, but the engagement today is terrible. And no, I don't ever quit. And yeah, diversifying is a must for me. Like you, lesson learned, but in my case, it's adding more sites. Only had one. BTW where is this? What city/town?

My main site as I mentioned down about 80% which was about 90% of my monthly earnings. I'm personally going to focus on info content on my other sites that didn't get hit. I'm going to put a hold on affiliate articles for now.

There's nothing I'd love more than to diversify away from the Google overlords. Unfortunately I'm yet to find a traffic source that has even close to the same volume as Google.

Alex, my cardigan site's traffic went down for a few days.. it was a flat liner for 5 days .. now it is growing again. The new ones are ok. I don't think we should give up. Take a look at these evergreen bloggers and so on ... they are doing well.

Diversifying traffic sources seems like a good idea Alex. Not easy indeed, but it will benefit us on the long run. One of the things I've focused on lately, is building an email list and creating a Facebook group. Of course, Google and SEO will remain important, but a bit more diversity in marketing efforts isn't bad, as long as you keep it focused.
