Since my Android 9.0 upgrade on 4/9/19, my apps were no longer recognizable. They have a childish look about them and I finally figured out how to switch them back. Go to settings click on wallpaper & themes. Select Top then the arrow will appear. Hit the arrow and select either all or just the free icons. I am so much happier now as my phone appears to be more business-like.

What about Multitasking? It really becomes a Hell of a job.
I have Note 8, back in the days, I just used to hold the Recent apps button to split the screen and open Any other app while I still working with it as YouTube video, or go to the top corner of the app and drag to change it to a pop-up window.
Now with One UI, I must use the apps edge bar open Only certain apps at the app edge bar and it must open as a pop-up window not split screen.
Can you make a video on this?

dudeee! I hate these huge notif buttons, miss the old background apps thing, loved the swiping up for the control panels smh why does it update by itself & now my data's not being read wtf just text & call
