C, Go and Forth are the most simple, minimal and beautiful languages I learned.

I used a watered down version of the forth language called "NaRCL."(or something like that.) It was a collaborative effort between Fischertecnik and McGraw Hills NRI divison
I used it to program robotic models i built while completing an NRI robotics study course back in 1988/89

I purchased a forth cartridge for Commodore 64 a long time ago, and wrote a small database that I needed at the time. Too bad this language never caught traction.

You really don't do justice to the Forth language. It's really all about recursion and the ability to define new words, which become an integral part of the language. Try coding Pascal's triangle, or fractals, in C. Then do the same in Forth. It's just so elegant...
