New water heater with chimney liner

A flue liner is sometimes recommended if a masonry chimney is not in good condition. Over the years the condensation from the flue gases can breakdown the mortar.

In some cases the inside of a chimney can collapse and block off the vent for the furnace and water heater. Ask @Kcwaterheaters for more information.
