When I read the one shot, I immediately got hooked on the manga and satisfyingly caught up to it, the only unsatisfying thing is having to wait for a new chapter but I know the hard work the author is trying to put up and I appreciate it. I really wish for an adaptation for this manga.

The art in this manga is truly breathtaking. Further, I love how their relationship is founded.
It’s not only realistic that he gets a crush on someone who motivates him, but she also pushes him to be better and get better.
However, it’s not one sided. It’s really nice to see them both pushing each other forward.

I've been craving an anime for this series since the one shot first dropped. And now, the manga has enough chapters for it, so hopefully we get one soon. It's so underrated. The anime is going to explode into mainstream popularity once it finally comes.

Also, man, Blue Box's immediate success upon debut reminds me of RuriDragon. I'm still dying for that series to come back. Plz be ok Shindo-sensei.

My recommendations: Touch, Cross Game, H2, Rough. Yep all of them are by author Adachi. Sports manga(s) by Adachi have better romance than actual romance manga(s).

I've been reading this when it was just a oneshot and it's such a cute story about a boy who loves sports in love with his senpai who also loves sports. It's awesome to see that it has over 100 chapters now.

I love that this manga is getting so much love now, i started reading it on a whim when about 6 chapters were out (I use viz to read so after first 6 some start to get locked) and i have been reading it ever since since i love how these characters act and their motivation, as well as how they handle certain situations, glad to see more people talking about it
