Make it like friendship, the interests respect each other, have fun being with each other/enjoy each other’s company. And then build on that.
It doesn’t do to make them the 1 dimensional lust monsters of Romantic Comedies.

I think one good idea is just, what would you like out of the relationship? Write it then make it realistic by remembering people fight/argue. It'll be fineeee

I’m not too big on reading or even writing romance and I’ve never attempted it before but I had a dream sometime last month in February that gave me a great plot, aesthetic, and it wasn’t anything special. Just a man and a woman laying in the grass and the warm sun with the only words in my head being, “It’s because of you than I’m happy.” I could feel that warmth. I woke up and immediately jotted it down.
Anyway, apologies on my end for both the rambling and my relatability 😅

Your not the only one. I suggest watching romantic anime and looking at major resources dealing with romance. I think it can be done regardless if you have experience or not. People in a relationship is essentially friendship but stronger and more intimate.
