Everything about this series was phenomenal. The fight scenes are some of the best in the industry. True anime feel. The cinematography was breathtaking. I fell in love with all of the actors performances.

This is the BEST live-action Kenshin, it stays pretty true to the Manga and stands up to Trust and Betrayal in quality. What I love is that it does not attempt to be cartoony, they made everything as if it could actually be done in real life! The emotion is palpable and Kenshin's and Enishi's pain, grief, and trauma are palpable and I cried several times. The BEST part to me though is the sound! They did not pump an overload of movie music at you, when music was used it was very subtle and gentle. The climax fight between Kenshin and Enishi does not have any music but the sound is amazing, this made it so much more realistic and personal. I was blown away! WOW! Incredible cinematic experience!

This is hands down the best Samurai movie (franchise) in the universe. The acting, choreography, fights, stunts and the story are all amazing. I have seen all four movies of Rurouni Kenshin and now, am waiting for the fifth movie to come out. Strongly recommended to those who loves action/martial arts movies.

Japan has shown the world once again its attention to detail, offering its artistry for all the world to see, then, in unison, to cause for all the rest, to gasp.This movie is a thing of beauty even beating hollywood's empty avengers. From the fight scenes, which were outstanding, to the souls of the characters, deep and never one-dimensional, it gave the cinephiles a work solid in merit and a bundle of joy in entertainment. I was afraid before watching the 4th installment that it might not live up to its predecessors' meat and heart, but this one shot up to the heavens, and will stay there for a very long time. The choreographed fight is eye candy and the best in the last 6 millenia. Mackenyu's enishi, young and heart heavy - laden, emits a sense of danger and sumptous agility. Let me declare right now and end it with a definitive period that the fight between the two is the best in all the history of cinema. How is it possible that the japanese did it? Perhaps we have the pandemic to thank for, because without it, the creative team behind the production would have not perfected the glorious fight scenes. Even the original score is almost korosawaesque. The band One Ok Rock's Renegades is apt to the movie's tone and purpose. Ed Sheeran, as one of the lyricists and composers, together with Taka, snatched this one, adding it to his short best list. As my last declaration, and yes this one takes my breath away, never bet against the japanese, in war or in peace, because they will beat any people in the world hands down or swords drawn. In heart and in soul, japan's greatness resides in its people. This movie is exhibit A and an essential part in a corpus of japan's genius.arigato japan.

Someone mentioned that the Rurouni Kenshin movies are every bit as good as MCU. I'd say no, they are quite a bit better than MCU films. They are true to the anime, an improvement over them definitely. And the storytelling, cinematography, the feel, everything is spot on.

This is how anime adaptations should be done. The goose bumps I've had watching these films is nothing compared to MCU films. This is Dark Knight, Django Unchained, Peaky Blinders level. More power to you guys who made these!!
