Religious people say we don't know if we are going to heaven we could just hope that was not good enough for me growing up catholic so I started going to my sister's church and received the Holy Spirit for the first time Jesus is the way the truth and life.🙏

i can relate. My mum suddenly died in 2007. I was 28, single and no other family. For over a decade i was lost and very angry with god. "how could he do this to me ???".

Then one day it just hit me. God was bringing my mum up to heaven to ease her pain of depression and alcohol and give her eternal peace.

Like a lightening bolt it hit me. How could I have been so selfish ???

I now have 3 beautiful daughters and happily married for 15 years and not a day goes by i dont TRULY BELIEVE that Mum and God restored my faith in love by sending / bringing to me these 4 awesome people.

Amen, there's an afterlife. Bur the dead are awaiting the resurrection, either the first or second. However, we want to be part of the first resurrection because that's for the saints. The second resurrection is for the wicked.

I think the Rabbi meant only God knows if he made it into heaven.
Except if revealed by God, we can't know for sure if someone made it into heaven.

I’ve got a couple stories
I know for one thing Jesus delivered from same-sex attraction so that’s pretty wild
And like you mentioned when you didn’t have gluten intolerance, something left me the night I was delivered, and I also threw up and it was after my mom prayed over me and commanded any spirits of confusion to leave

Then, my two best friends that I had that were not Christians tried to make me pick between them or believing uncomfortable rules in the Bible (like that abortion is bad, homosexuality is a sin) and I chose Jesus and they left
They hadn’t even fully left yet when Jesus gave me my new best friend, and she’s a lovely godly person and thank You Jesus for all You’ve done in my life and in the life of Alfa!

If people actually read the scriptures, then they should know the parable of the rich man and Lazarus. It clearly answers you plainly where loved ones end up based on how they lived.
