The cheapest electronic drum kit I’ve ever seen is the Carlsbro Rock 50. At just £139 brand new (I even saw them for as little as £105 after I made this video) ...I bought this drum kit on eBay for £50 recently and here are my first impressions of it. The Rock 50 is actually a children’s electric drum set with only 3 pieces plus the bass drum. It comprises of one cymbal, a snare drum and a single tom tom. The one I bought had never been previously setup before and that’s exactly what I’m going to do in this video. After setting it up I’m going to try out its various sounds, patches, metronome and any other features I can find.

I say set it up with the spdsx pro use the cheap kit as triggers, and see if it will support the weight of the spdsx

Nothing screams quality musical instrument to me like "the bottom of a clark's shoe" haha. For £50 tho, cheaper than making a little kit out of practice pads... And you get to pump it up! Could you add one of the drum pads to your roland to use as an effect pad?
