I've dreamed of doing something like this for years! I finally have 2 electric kits, but not enough space! Ahhh!

Damn dude, that was some of your sickest drumming to date.

You always look like you're having so much fun playing! That smile you get. My Tama kit arrives tomorrow! You influenced me! Thank you! 58 yo playing drums for the first time!

Kit sounds super tight. Looks like you had a really fun time with this project. Your drum chops are 10/10.

Aah, we did this thing back in high school music classroom. Frankenstein'd the hell out of those racks and even got the modules on top of each other, looked super pro.

I'm ambidextrous. I've been using a combination of multiple e-kits for years now. I have one module for the drums and another for cymbals, for a total of 19 triggers. My setup is "mirrored" so that I can play natively left, right, or open handed as both sides are nearly redundant, the main difference being the pitch of the toms and cymbals. My 5 toms alternate left to right in descending pitch. Marching tenor techniques are readily executable in this arrangement, sweeps and crossovers all day with ease. I have a total of 3 hat triggers, 2 mirrored of the same pitch, and an additional lower pitch on the left, and all 3 are wired to the same variable pedal. I have acoustic sets, but for the sheer number of playable surfaces I have on the e-kit, it takes up SO much less space.

Hearing you play Emperor even for a few seconds made me smile so much, love the video!!!

I got enlisted to do this to two sets of the top end Yamaha electric kits at the store I worked at! It was bananas, like 8 Toms, two kicks, two snares, two highhats (one on a cable setup), and like 6 cymbals. I patched both brains together and had all the toms tuned two semitones apart. It was wild to say the least. Great video as always!

Dammit samus! You just could not help adding that speedy double bass at 2:01. Love it man haha :D

Awesome stuff! I never even considered using a module, other than the one that came with the kit, to input multiple sets of cymbals and drums! Freaking sweet.

Is it just me that almost always rewind Samus videos every time he does something funny (pretty often) He´s humor is pretty much the same as mine. Never fails to entertain. Edit: Damn, that drumming to Painkiller was insanely juicy. Those double kicks made me nod my head like a complete maniac. I think I came a little too. Oooh yuuurr 🔥🤘

Dude those are some clean linears. Man's been practicing hard!

That's smooth sounding, especially after dropping all the components together, including sounds. Couldn't imagine how much better when you mess with delay, sustain, etc. I have 2 Yamaha kits like this, using both brains. It's good for what suits my available free time. Great video. Sex!

Dude you rock, because of budgetary restrictions, (I'm calling you out Roland and DWe) 🤪 this is exactly what I have done!! I have combined kits and modules to create a bit of a Frankenstein. But hell I have fun plugging in a whole lot of drums!! No shade on Roland and DWe though, they are bad ass kits!!

The difference between this guy and other edrum review videos is that he is a REALLY good drummer --- off the charts man. It's the drumming that makes the product review so entertaining to watch ... and he's funny too. That's just not fair to get that talent too... : )

I have one of the first milennium sets and then got a Crimson 2. Just connected them with a 3, 5mm. I can use different drum sounds, like timbales on the old set and reggae on the crimson. 7 toms 2 rides 4 crash, very much fun

I think if you did a combination of your different acoustic drums for the standard drum sounds and then combined it with the Donner kits using different effects different sounds but had them all as one kit so you could go seamlessly from one to the other I really think you could come up with something amazing like in your last video where you did a demo of the Chinese drums I really think you could do something with that and it would be epic

Samus, you are just gifted, dude. For real! It’s so inspiring watching you play; and the ease you dominate the kit is just “oh yurrrr!”

Amazing work, man. 🤟
