There is simply NO substitute for a real glass zoom. And i prefer the 2.7k rez in daylight- it is simply stunning quality. If you need low light then buy the Zoom 2 Pro or Air2s.

Even in 2022, I do believe the Mavic 2 Zoom offers perhaps the best all around value for most non professional drone pilots (although many might say this falls to the Mavic 2 Air/Air 2s). I have both drones but always go back to the Zoom for all around usefulness. It's slightly larger size gives you a more comfortable "feel" when flying at distances than any of the smaller drones do (as good as they are). Plus the camera is "good enough" and has that beautiful zoom feature that is so important for all around usefulness.

Again, this is just an opinion, so doesn't make it so, but this is one drone that I never plan to sell, and I have stocked up on batteries (8) so I can fly pretty much all day. It's a shame that DJI has given up on it now that more expensive and marginally better drones are for sale by them, but I guess this kind of progress is par for the course today.

Five hundred flights with never a miss or an accident and still flying as well as the day I first put it into operation.

Still easily one of the best drones on the market - amazing camera with zoom capability that’s not available on any other drone to date, active track and smart feature still rock solid; the build and stance of it still looks best to date in my opinion and finally - it uses a dedicated pro-version app that’s feature rich and refined to fly not the cheap DJI Fly app.

I currently have an error to S, then, looking for another drone to supplement it that the air 2S cannot deal, then, looking at the two zoom, as well as the mini 3. Thanks for the great video

Nice flying drone, but FHD simply doesnt cut it in this day and age. You can buy a new mini drone for the same price that offer clearer video.

Hi guys Dave Australia here I just came across this video. And I see it’s referred to as a non-professional drone well I sell photos off mine and have done some search and rescue stuff successfully and yes I have got paid for the photos and videos that I have done well some of them anyway.
