This song makes Dear John sound like a compliment to John Mayer

This song is so fucking powerful, man. You can literally feel the pain & emotion.. it had to have been written between speak now & red. Sbe was definitely going through it but everyone's first instinct was to bully her like just because she's famous and has money, she doesn't have feelings. I can not imagine how that must've felt to her.

An album of scattered sleepless nights.. brings us another sad story of John Mayer. “If I was some paint, did it splatter On a promising grown man?“
And “Give me back my girlhood, it was mine first.” She is telling about the pain he caused her even years later.

John Mayer thought he was safe until Dear John (Taylor's Version) but then she turned around and hit him with this

the bonus tracks are better than the entire album

I like the bonus tracks more, not individually, but as the whole picture. Just by listening to a couple of them I can see them connecting in multiple ways. Taylor said she sees midnight as a whole big picture, but I think that’s more true for the bonus tracks.
For example: High Infedelity and Dear Reader
Taylor writes “Do you really want to know where I was April 29th”
And she also wrote “I bent the truth too far tonight”
In Dear reader she writes “Bend when you can, snap when you have to, you don’t have to answer just cause they asked you”

This seems like Demi’s song 29. But this is more peaceful and sadder. While demi’s was more aggressive, angry. I think we all have our own way of grieving…

I can’t be the only one thinking about how Taylor’s songs match perfectly with every chapter of my life?
