Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the top killer in women in Europe and in the world, but it is still underestimated as a health problem. When it comes to heart disease, women are still being left behind. In the US, 1 in 4 women die from heart disease and in Europe, cardiovascular disease kills 51% of women compared to breast cancer which causes 3% of deaths. Good news is - it can be prevented!
