2:02 "We had a Absent Father ... not because he left us but because he had 2 Fulltime jobs Salut to him for working for his Kids so they could eat. He had no time for them but he did what was in his power.
Must been realy hard for the 3 of them

"Don't think I'll ever forget that time you left me at the grocery store when I was 11"
ASDFGGHJKL. This video is wholesome and heartwarming at best. Family is not about biological terms but chemistry formed from an individual to another. I was adopted by my mother and let me tell you, she's my superhero. Though we bicker ALOT, we still love each other, spill tea about things and she honestly meant alot to me.

I didn't expect to cry so much at this. I relate so much to the brother and sister story. Such a wholesome video

Claire (Stacy's foster daughter) is my best friend and we have been best friends since middle school and I remember how bad things were back then, we wearnt even allowed to hang out because of that group home. It made me feel so... helpless every day when all I could do was hug her. She called me today to show me this amazing video and it only made me appreciate Stacy even more because this summer we were able to see eachother again for a whole weekend! I'm really over the moon to see how much Stacy has impacted Claire's life in such a short amount of time and how independent she is now. They are both truly amazing people and I am grateful to have met Stacy and have Claire as a best friend 💖

I raised my sister when I was 13 and she was 10, until I was 18 and she was 15. I helped her with homework, acted as her sister (gossip, talking about school), cooked food every night, helped her with her periods, helped her sleep every night due to her insomnia and helped her through all friendship and relationship problems while I juggled school, taking care of my ill mother and a job. Now that she's 21, she's totally cut me off. Today I got married and she arranged a shift on work just to miss it. She never said anything. I live in a flat with my husband right next to the main house. She's cut me off and would never tell me why no matter how often I asked.

My point is, not everyone will remember it as a positive experience and will have conflicting feelings (is she my sister or my mom?). Sometimes people will just cut you out after you raised them. It's complex because no sibling should have to raise their younger siblings, but it's so common and it doesn't always end up well. Just don't take what bonds you have with your siblings for granted.

Bro, imagine raising a child all alone from the age of 17. So sad...

Who sliced onions?!🧅😭
I adopted my little sister when she was 12, now she is turning 19 and I am SOOO proud of her😭 the fact that she loves me, she is a GREAT friend aside of a little-big sis ♥️ I love being able to give her a person who will help her grow and never leave her side✨

These types of things is what the internet should be focused on.

That foster daughter really needed to hear that "I love you" back. She just melted when foster mom said it and hugged her.

The young girl reading the letter to her aunt touched my heart you could tell she was so nervous she had her paper all crumpled up and her little voice :/ bless her heart!! And the sister who raised her brother what an amazing person!!! The courage it took to raise her 10 year old brother

Don’t mind all the tears. I didn’t have abusive parents but I had self centered parents. I am who I am because of them but my older sister stepped up a lot and she knows I love her because we learned open communication from our parents but I can’t help but be emotional watching this.

I’m sorry for the kids who were let down (abused) by their biological parents. Thank you to the sister, aunt, and foster mom for being there, having the extra heart.

Shout out to the ones that have cared for us like their own when we weren't. I've always wanted to say thank you to my aunt who always had my back when mine and my moms relationship was rocky. Never turned away from me.❤
