NYC has begun clearing encampments made asylum seekers controversially evicted from overcrowded city shelters. Proponents say the encampments are illegally constructed, but critics say these are people who the city is neglecting its responsibility to care for.

A total disaster. Five billion dollars of New York City taxpayer money wasted as there is no permanent shelter for them. They should never have come here because there should never have been an open border.

Giving the Right To Shelter rules to so-called Asylum Seekers was BS from the beginning. And, after the shelter stay expired they should have been deported, not left to roam freely.

Right to shelter should be for citizens not for those here illegally

The mayor shouted at the top of his lungs that NYC is a “sanctuary city”

I'm a New Yorker, born and raised in the Bronx currently living in Queens, and I have zero sympathy for people who came here illegally with no plan.
Please stop calling them 'migrants.'
They're illegal immigrants.
There's an important difference.

Thanks! You are giving the news that the mainstream media refuses to touch.

You can't claim asylum from poverty. That isn't a thing. You especially can't seek asylum from poverty and live at the expense of hard working people. It's time for things to change, permanently. Additionally, these individuals aren't claiming asylum, they just show up. Asylum is a process. This is just walking into to someone's home uninvited and them being forced to feed the intruders at gunpoint.

They let them all in, now they don't know what to do with them. Such genius.

They don't have to sleep on the streets, they can go back where they came from.

Enforcing immigration law would stop this madness. "Reform" is NOT necessary.

The same buses that brought them there can take them back where they came from. Shame, shame on the people allowing this to happen.

It’s disingenuous to say the results of such policies were ‘unanticipated.’ They were very anticipated.

A migrant is a person from another country that was granted a visa to live here. In this process was an interview and assurance they had skills, money and a place to stay. This was how my Father immigrated to this country. I left San Francisco and California because of these same issues 3 years ago. Seems they would have learned that giving away these things just brings more and more to a breaking point very quickly.
