Online KYC Modification 2024 | Detailed Steps

From 1 April 2024, the new KYC rules require validation of all KYCs. This is currently being done for Aadhaar based KYCs only. If you got your KYC done via non-Aadhaar, e.g. via #PAN, #drivinglicense, #VoterID, #bankstatement or #utilitybill your KYC status will not be validated and hence you will not be able to invest with any new AMC.

Your only option as of now is to get your KYC modified. One way to do is to submit paper form with your Mutual fund. Alternatively, you could electronically do your KYC via the details in this video.

Currently we are aware of following links :

Via UTI Mutual Fund - This one only only works with KYCs done via CVL KRA

Via DSP Mutual Fund - This one mentions that it would work with all KRAs.

Hi Puneet, thanks for the info. One query..Even after re-doing the kyc (physical form) with Aadhar as OVD, and verifying email and mobile otps via cvl kra, the kyc status still shows as registered.It’s been 10 days already. Any idea why?

Sir, I submitted the KYC form with all relevant documents to CAMS on 3rd April/24, DL as OVD, and PAN and its shows registered, and I did the modification as you suggested in the earlier video on cams, so how many days does it take to validate.
