I was debating which one I should go for. Thank you for your clarification

This resonates with me...I worked at AWS for 2+ years as a Cloud Architect and just joined Microsoft a couple of months back.

I am not a fan of AWS or Azure, but this looks like its very much biased

OK, the data you showed at 0:40 was from 2017-2020? A lot could have changed in those 4 years.

I started out in Azure and learn a bit AWS. i dont "switch" cloud. My enterprise customers use both, so i need to know my way around in both.
I dont think "Windows" is the binding factor, the is nothing "windows" specific in Azure. but rather Microsoft that might be a logical binding factor.
In your overview on resource groups. you miss one layer: management group, so its account -> management group -> subscription -> resource group -> recourses.
Funnily enough you browse quickly over management groups @6:22 :)
Enjoy learning Azure!

Not to be a hater, but this video really don’t feel directed to engineer but to freelancers that are not very into tech.

I'm about to graduate with a cloud computing degree and tried both platforms, I agree with you 100 percent!

This has been my conviction in the last 2 weeks, Microsoft Azure make life easier than AWS, I've been on AWS journey self learning for more than 1 year and its been crazy, its like an sonic running in circles, I'm glad I was able to write the AZ-900 watch Adam Marzack Along with my AWS knowledge and it was a very great experience, Additionally as you mentioned the common denominator in the UK demographic is Microsoft and its a no brainer that they are continuously moving faster based on the market trend. Thank you for reaffirming this.

I've never been fond of Azure but, this has made me more inclined to give it a more serious look, than any slick MS production video has.

I've used all 3 cloud services extensively and I prefer Azure to the others.

Wait until you work with AZ CLI and AZ powershell to understand how easy and powerful it is. Good Choice, welcome to Azure !

AWS or GCP, which is more beneficial

I have an upcoming AWS SAA-C03 exam, and I'm planning to pursue the Solutions Architect Professional and Security Specialty certifications afterward. However, this video has given me pause and made me rethink my decision.

This video title was very intriguing but the majority of the reasons don’t out weigh the advantages AWS has over Azure. Far more features and services, still by far the most popular cloud solution on the market regardless of Azure rate of growth. Duration of certification, service naming and grouping over tagging are really not enough to drive a decision like which cloud provider to study or choose for your business.

As AWS SA i can't see any reason to do a video like this. Just say you pref Azure and your company need that.
1) Marked argument is stupid, they have 2 really different market and targets
2) The service name argument is stupid.
3) The certification with aws are worth more than Azure ones since they are harder to get, the website you talk about for certs work really well.
4) I agree with the resource groups being generally usefull but tags used well are more powerful while resource groups can limit you while growing in some refactoring situation
5) "All in one" is a good argument but again, thats not about aws beeing worse but about having your company with a specific need

Agree 100%! always been a Microsoft leaning techie. First time I looked at AWS, my first impression was, hmmm it's not user friendly is it? to har you say that there are no resource groups to organise your resources is shocking! Thanks for your honest analysis, as you've actually used AWS.

Yes, on top of that pricing... Azure has better pricing than AWS. Easier to use, better UI.

The market graph appear to be 4 years out of date.
