This scene is truly brilliant. If you’ve watched the film you know that Henry’s best friend and mentor died in this battle, which could’ve been prevented if the French Prince accepted Henry’s offer to duel to the death instead of having both armies fight, causing needles deaths.

So when this prince finally comes to fight Henry, after already having lost but can’t even stand up in his armor, you see Henry’s visible disgust. Him letting his men kill the prince was him saying “Fuck you, you’re not worthy of my blade.”

Edit: People are calling this movie “historically inaccurate” without realizing it’s based on a fucking 17th century play by Shakespeare. Maybe get off your pseudo intellectual high horses and do some research before you decide to be knob heads.
