Rough start on the bugs front for the Age of Heroes, I'll keep you guys updated about the big issues alongside the usual coverage of the update

I'm on 1534 Official PVE NA and even though I prepared for the update I lost several named thralls that were placed and caged.
On my thrall history they don't appear as gone as well. I was able to rescue one of many gone missing and all the players on this server are experiencing many complications after this update.
We already know the drill that they enjoy rolling out broken updated on Friday to be resolved at their leisure since very few times they care to reach out during the weekend concerning hiccups and bugs they failed to solve prior to releasing update.

I'm on 1524 with 6200 hours of gameplay.

Haven't commented on your channel for a while. Just wanted you to know how much I still appreciate all your videos! This last one has been great.

I'm on tour right now, and trying to get my update updated while using horrible hotel Wi-Fi! But while not playing, being able to still get my fix for the game while watching your videos has helped!

Can confirm the Code System is already being used - signed up for the newsletter yesterday and today I received a thank you e-mail with a code for a Hyrkanian Warlord Armor Set (to be craftable in game)

If Funcom were smart they'd make an outfit for bartenders and give it out free to make up for deleting all the barkeepers. That would engender some good will and it sounds fair to me. If anyone is looking for a crafter thrall that has left their base check up in the air in I think it's g9 east of the large lake. Found my cook and smith like 50 yards up in a pile of crafters from other players on the server. Built a tower for everyone and it seems to work just fine to have them follow you and set them back where they were. Also not sure if anyone else has the Freya quest broken but I can't get past the first step no matter how many journals I bring.

I've noticed the thralls teleporting to weird corners of the map and getting deleted, too. It doesn't seem to happen to thralls who are inside structures, only those who have access to walking around outside. Perhaps it is a pathfinding glitch. Some users on Reddit mentioned that they found the missing thralls floating way above the map.

Other than that, I have seen the "obstructed view" bug- but it's not been anymore annoying than objects that always had funky hitboxes for placement- just takes a little patience.

I also noticed worker thralls who are sitting on the Tavern Bench beside a table will get up and stand on the table, stuck and unable to walk anywhere.

I play on an official PvE Exiled Lands server and these are the general trends most of us on it have experienced:

- Server stability has been good despite high player numbers. Had the occasional fall-thru-floor moments but they were over very quickly. Much better than the last chapter release which was unplayable for days.

- Bartenders are goneburgers as you said. I started running the prisoner cages as per Pixelcave's vid but was competing against other players so instead made a small purge base and ran a Level 1 purge which gave me a barkeep on the first go.

- Thralls/npcs don't like the new Argossean spiral staircase, they won't use it and if you set them to 'follow' you up/down the stairs they just teleport.

- Some placed crafter thralls disappearing to off the edge of very bottom-right corner of the map (as noted in this vid). We found that we could 'rescue' those whose status (in the followers list) was 'Guarding' but not those who were 'Returning home'... one guy said his 'Returning home' thralls started dying.

- T4 priests straight-up disappearing, gone from the followers list so effectively dead.

- "Obstructed view" bug a pain but manageable, just makes placing things a bit fiddly sometimes.

You can no longer complete the Thrall Taker journey. Final stage is "assign a crafter to a bench". Yeah. There's no way to do that.

ATTENTION: Dont put out any crafters thralls they're disappearing. Hopefully they'll find a fix soon.

Its interesting. I've found some cages and keys, but every cage I find is empty.

They need to put that Yamatai expansion back on the Bazaar. I had Covid when it came out and I haven't had another chance to get it.

I started a new game on the Exiled Lands at launch, so I dodged the Barkeeper bug.

Friendly Tip :
Went to a bunch of camps for a replacement barkeep and nothing. Then I guessed cages with thralls in them were only at major bases. And my hunch was right. Got a replacement barkeep at the Summoning Place first try. Probably the easiest base to get one.

the bug where crafters are scooting off to map square G9 happens fairly often when you leave your base for a while and then return. I think teleporting home causes it more often but its probably a biased assumption. I see someone theorizing it happens when they have access to outdoors. I will try blocking off all outer doors except one with elevator access.

i have lost 2 crafters and 2 fighters that just disappeared off the follower list..
its on solo with limit turned off so im guessing theres a bug so until its fixed, Freya is gonna have to wait..
