The James Webb Telescope's first images are finally here, and they are starting strong with the deepest photo of the universe ever. The image is of the galaxy cluster SMACS-7023, whose gravity acts as a magnifier for seeing the farthest galaxies.

Long-form videos are on the way soon everyone. I have something big planned but it's a lot of work and couldn't devote long-form time to this cool picture sadly. Please be patient with me 🙏

The other images they've released are equally as fantastic.

Love that everybody’s mind is blown. I hope it’s a start of a new generation of truth seekers. Astronomy is very humbling.

Can’t believe the wait is over! I didn’t think the day would ever come. After all the delays I was sure the telescope would be lost during launch

It's truly crazy that NASA's own livestreamed presentation failed to give the context necessary to appreciate this image. You managed it very well in under a minute. This community is really lucky to have you, SEA!

I watched from another YouTuber about a couple of cool things about this image. Like 2 galaxies about to collide, 2 galaxies in the middle of colliding, a galaxy that has a black line in the middle so something is blocking it from our view. And another galaxy that has so much lensing it looks like two galaxy.
