New to the game because of my twin boys. Obsessed now lol. I need this like a hole in the head but I am in. Got a Galarian Articuno with my first master ball last week. That was nuts. I wish i could go back and buy the research for the other master balls from before i played. I had Galarian Moltres in my grips and of course it fled lol. I saw your video on that journey. I hope the change that comes with the daily incense gives us a chance to catch pokemon that aren’t available in our region. It would definitely make the daily incense fun to use again.

Edit: I’ve seen an update that confirms a huge thing: If you encounter a shiny Galar bird, it won’t flee. It’s not a guaranteed catch, but it won’t run away.

Don't get me wrong, I'm excited about all the Events they are dropping this season, maybe because Gen8 was one of my favorite games. But I'm highly concerned about the way they are now introducing previously shiny locked (aside from event distributions) legendaries exclusively through Pokémon Go. It has never been (legally) possible in the whole Pokémon universe before to have the Galarian Birds and Zacian + Zamazenta in shiny with your own OT. This will most likely lead into Gen9 shiny legendaries (In sum there are !17! which even weren't released as events and are completely locked yet) getting the same treatment which will make it a huge cost factor to only have your collection complete.

I honestly wondered why they did the showcases how they originally did. I figured an XXL within species would be ranked high... but that was never the case. This makes more sense, and leads to more variety. Versus all "Biggest Steel Type" showcases ending in a Celesteela taking the win every time.

1/4 egg distance has always been apart of the bonuses regardless of the featured mon. It always goes x3 stardust, x3 xp and then 1/4 egg distance. That order might be a little wrong, but it's always been those 3 bonuses.

I just saw a Galarian moltres for the first bird I’ve seen in about 8 months and I couldn’t even click on it because it was on a pokestop. Don’t have to worry about getting these shinies
