I agree with you on mixing up our expectations, it would be great to see a potter in hufflepuff or a Malfoy in Ravenclaw or even Gryfindor, of course it would only work if most of the families were in the houses you expect with the odd exception. Looking forward to seeing how they play this one.

I hadn't thought of this aspect of the game, it would be really cool though, honestly now that you mentioned it I think it's absolutely a must that most (if not all) of these families have to have AT LEAST one member attending Hogwarts at the time the game is set in. And that said they have to make at least half of them interactable NPCs with personalities and lines. This game just keeps getting more complicated the more I think about it 😂 I guess maybe that why we haven't heard anything new? I just really hope it isn't delayed further, as long as that doesn't happen I'll be happy. But then again, them not releasing any new information makes me feel like they still have a lot to do... Hope a year is enough because I know we just want this game to be amazing.

Despite also being a pure-blood family, the Potter family was excluded from the Sacred 28 because they had a common Muggle surname, and also because Henry Potter (Harry's great-grandfather) had outspoken pro-Muggle views.

I was actually surprised that there's even less of the sacred 28 in the game than there are in the HP and FB movies, especially considering the game takes place 100 years prior to the books
