The Nickelodeon time capsule was buried in front of Nickelodeon Studios (now a Blue Man Group attraction) in Orlando, Florida in 1992, to be opened in 2042. The time capsule was relocated to the front entrance of the Nickelodeon Family Suites (later known as Nickelodeon Suites resort, now the Holiday Inn Waterpark Hotel). The time capsule is being relocated to a new Nickelodeon Animation/TV Studio in Burbank, California, but it is still scheduled to be opened in 2042. The Nickelodeon time capsule is one known case of a time capsule being transplanted to a new location twice after two different attractions with the Nickelodeon branding shut down. I really hope that when that time capsule gets buried in California, it stays buried until 2042.
