What it's doing is called a porpoise and you're taught as a pilot to always do a go-around if your aircraft is doing it

This did not look like that fatal FedEx flight. This is very common in aviation, especially with newbies. The part that would make this like the FedEx flight would be if the plane started to bounce and slam onto the nose gear as well.
