People seem to completely overlook the increase in raw power, going from 10 tflops to like 33+ is huge. The potential for developers to push future games and frames is now there.

Most of the backlash is coming from Pc users with a 32 inch monitor when most console users I assume are playing on Tv that’s 50 inches or better (pause) -(side note) my wife don’t know I preordered the Pro yet. She says we need a new refrigerator and I agree but we’ll get that later 😆

Not only did they remove features from the pro compared too the original. Plus, the ps5 doesn’t really have any games too call its own anyway that truly took advantage of the hardware. I do like the 60 fps upgrade, but at this point, the steam deck can give me close too if not equal performance and be taken on the go, and not only has a larger library of games, but much more exclusives. Even the Nintendo switch is in a better position despite its downgrades. The one x and ps4 pro I feel were oddities, also didn’t help that the original consoles were weak from the start.

People are already gushing over GTA 6 without knowing whether it's going to be good or not. That and the fact that people are specifically buying a console just to play that game is kind of crazy.

Sony should have added the Emotion Engine and Cell Processor to play PS2 and PS3 Games Natively

Nobody cares for graphics and performance.
Games should be all about enjoying every moments, it's just a shame that ps5 Pro doesn't have a disc drive that is compatible to all the PlayStation games from the PlayStation 1.
That way the players don't need to be premium and hope that their favourite games makes a return when they can play it whenever they can.
The only thing premium would provide for the classics is trophies and a better performance and probably have rare games that's expensive or hard to find in a retro store.

Im a series x owner and what i bought was reasonable. Because it came with a diskdrive and the stand is included.

I will not buy a ps5 pro.

Ill wait and see. But um so satisfied with my series x that i probsbly wont even get a next gen console right away.

The PS5 Pro supposedly does everything they implied the original PS5 would do (which now we know was not true), so I feel robbed.

XD there's no difference at all they are showing a 4 year old game buddy. there is no difference for a game built for the ps4 base

I can justify this price considering I haven’t bought a physical disk in the past 10 years
