Coming out of Amillenialism to Pre-Trib. The confusion, i believe, comes from a mixture of adherance of replacement theology that removes Israel from any future redemption of God. And, the Christians who come to faith after the Rapture. An amillennialist will refuse to interpret the book of Revelation Literally. So the Jewish people and Tribulations Christians are assumed to be the church.

1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17
and
John 6: 39, 40, 44, 54

1 Thes. 4 says the dead in Christ must rise first, then comes the rapture.
John 6 says the dead get raised at the last day.

The dead in Christ shall rise first, at the last day, then comes the rapture.

This will NEVER translate to a pre tribulation rapture.

Pre trib...well, Revelation 1:9 and 2 Corinthians 1:4 tell me we are companions in tribulation. Let me ask you, did our Lord teach rapture? No How about his prophets? No. Why not read and listen to him, he tells us in Matthew 13:24-30 then again plainly in verses 37-43 kjv. Paul tells us in 2 Thess Chapter 1 our Lord comes for Vengeance with his mighty Angels (Reapers)....then his Harvest, the dead rise followed by us that endure to the end Matthew 24:13 kjv. We all will see the judgement seat?...when? Revelation 11:15-19 kjv. When? 7th trumpet, the Last Day. Amen
