I was invested in the pi3 but skipped the pi4 scene due to my obsession with fortnite but am patiently waiting on the next gen pi. Hopefully it will be on par with my odroid xu4. I am still baffled as to why the xu4 got abandoned so quickly but it is what it is.

how are ssh transfer speeds? with retropie i get around 5mg a second, with recalbox (not this version, ) I am only getting 2mg per second. Batocera is comparably slow as well. How it this image of version of recalbox?

For someone who literally learned pi 4, Emulators existed 2 hours ago. Who is also super tech illiterate where is the best points of reference on starting from point... Zero? Equipment i should buy, Videos i should watch on getting it started, reference points on where to get images to burn and how to burn them. My biggest scare is configuring the controllers as a lot of what i read is people having trouble with that. Any help and guidance is greatly greatly appreciated.
