Great info and production! Just wanted to clarify a minor detail, around 1:55 you say "count five notes starting on the root note of your chord", did you mean "count five scale degrees..."? Thanks!

In the example, E7 is the secondary dominant to Am. Since E is the third scale degree in C major, would that E7 also count as a chromatic mediant?

i don't understend why "in a triad, the third note is the dominant in that key"? Is the dominant in that key but not the chord? and the last onw i don't understed ethier, why the root and the fifth?? im chilean so learning this in other lenguague is hard, someone can explain me?
