This did not work for me. I can fix it temporarily, but once I create a new text layer it defaults back to the "right to left" style.

I've just been dealing with this for years and letting it stay.. finally decided to do something about it but for some reason the option to switch to "default features" greyed out so I'm just stuck in "Middle Eastern features" but just the paragraph formatting option fixed it :) thank you!
