I love this song so much. Even though the level is just a short extra area outside of the main game, I used to listen it like hell back then to calm myself down before starting to work as a teacher.
Now I have 4 years of experience in the field, and this song still has a place in my heart :)

one weird (or funny) thing, is when you start the level with the Booster, and you can already fly, but it is unnequiped in your inventory :0

For those wondering about the Prinny, well... NIS was involved with the 3DS remake, surprisingly (NIS rarely does stuff with Nintendo, as far as I know)...

This stage is used in the eShop port of Cave Story as a challenge. If you get the best ending, you can unlock a time attack for the final portion of the game and boss attack, as well. If you do unlock Wind Fortress, what's your best time? Mine is 2'37"9

Man I wish this was in the game. Like what a cool idea, being at the bottom of the island! Always wanted to explore the island as a kid, and finding this stage in the remastered versions later was a real treat.
