Galaxy S10 is GOAT Samsung. Full screen design, three camera setup, expandable storage, headphone jack, fingerprint sensor under screen, edge display. Just doesn’t get any better.

I'll never forget the first time I saw an ad on TV for the Galaxy S8. The design was such a level up

S8, S9 & S10 is peak Samsung design. The S8 is probably my fav phone ever, it made me switch from iphone to android - the front looked amazing.

I'm from Singapore and our version of S2 was a physical rectangular home button with 2 capacitive button. Even the camera was rectangular in shaped.

01:33 I'm a Korean. Fun Fact, Externally, the 'S' may stand for "Super Smart, " but originally, it wasn't so grand. The 'S' in Galaxy S stands for the first letter of "SK telecom." In South Korea, there are three major Carrier : KT, LG U+, and SK telecom. When the Galaxy was first released, it came out exclusively with SK telecom (SKT), hence the name Galaxy S. There are also models like Galaxy K (SHW-M130K) and Galaxy U (SHW-M130L). If Galaxy had been released exclusively with Verizon in the United States, it would likely have been named Galaxy V. haha.

28:51 Fun fact, the S9+ was actually the first samsung S phone with multiple rear cameras with a total of 2.

Galaxy S7 was my first experience with Android, never went back to Apple other than an iPad, but eventually went from that to a Galaxy S20+, then the Z Flip 3. Now I'm onto the Galaxy S24 Ultra and they've really come a long way since the S7.

S10 will always be peak for me. It was the phone with the most, it had all the things the current phones have, like triple cameras, under screen fingerprint scanner etc. still had headphone jack, Micro sd card slot, the heart rate monitor and 1440p screen. Every model after this they slowly removed all these features... I really want a new phone with better cameras, but it's hard to let go of the s10 and lose all those features.

S9 plus was peak. SD card, waterproof, headphone jack, heartrate sensor, customizable hotkey, buttons on the correct sides, symmetric display without cutouts, dualsim etc. Only things missing are removable battery, FM, and IR blaster I think?

You forgot about the Universal Remote feature on the S5 & S6 phones. It was super clutch and I used to ALL THE TIME!!

The S6 model I used to have had an IR transmitter in it, which made it possible to control your TV (the phone could act as any remote). This was such a nice party trick to turn on a random TV on the streets.

I can't believe you went through the s7 without going over it's ip68 rating. It really made that the normal for all phones now. Heck linus took it in the ocean during his review!

The S8 and S9 gen having a physically moving touch screen home button was underrated!

In my opinion, S10+ was the best S of all ! Especially with 512GB & 1 TB versions, they had ceramic back ! Also, S10+ was the last Samsung's flagship with heart rate sensor, headphone jack, IR-blaster, sd card slot, bixby button and horizontal cameras ! Amazing work and tons of informations in one single video, thank you Marques !

It is crazy how even today the S8 design still look stunning and futuristic, my favorite design from the front. I actually love the S6 back design, something about the metal and glass that makes it feel like jewelry compared to previous and future generations

Mistakes I noticed:
- the S8 isn't the first galaxy S phone to have exynos, but it's the first in a while where the exynos is worse than the snapdragon
- the S9 wasn't the last galaxy S phone to have dual aperture, the S10 series also had it
- the S10e had the same charging speed as the S10 and S10+: 15W
