This man was my role model when I was a teen. At 80 years old I still train with weights. Thank you Steve Reeves.

As a kid I enjoyed watching Steve Reeves as Hercules ...I'm old school I guess, but I think Steve Reeves and Frank Zane's physique are classic physiques...

The Steve Reeves physique is what inspired me from a very young age to take up weight training. The man's body was truly aesthetic and symmetrical.
The Hercules movies had me glued to the tv.

I loved watching this interview. You can definitely tell he grew up in a time when "men were men" and hard work was the norm. Great approach to life. A true legend and great body builder. Healthy body builder! Watching his movies as a kid is what made me want to lift weights and put on muscle. Many thank to Pat Henry and Tony Quinn for releasing this interview.

We need more people like Steve Reeves in bodybuilding. How amazing it would be to bring the health, wellness, and intelligence aspect back to the sport. He and Mike Mentzer were such amazing figures in the sport.

Steve was a combat veteran. He said he saw everything, men blown apart. He said he handled it by looking at it like a movie
