out of all the masks i have made this one is the best!

This has been the best fitting and most comfortable mask of all the patterns I have tried. I solved the mis-matched pleats (one up, one down) by putting right sides together of both a front and back piece of fabric, then ironing the pleats, then doing the same for the remaining two pieces of mis-matched fabric. If you iron the pleats the same direction with, for example, the pink side always up, then it will match. On one complete side, the pleats will face up, and on the other complete side, they will face down. I also used plastic coated wire coffee bag closure strips to make the best nose grips ever. Cut each strip in half and file any sharp wire ends. Insert the strip in the nose bridge area, trace slightly wide around it, and remove. Sew two lines of the pocket, insert the wire, then stitch across the end side to complete. Hand wash the mask or use a small garment bag and machine wash on delicate. Thank you so much for this excellent mask pattern! I work at a school and it has literally been a life saver.

This is a very nice design, but I'm wondering if you meant for the pleats to face up on the right side, and face down on the left side? I'd love to make this but want to make sure I'm doing it correctly.

This turned out just beautiful. The only thing I would do different is to have the pleats on both sides going the same direction either up or down. That's just me being OCD... LOL... Much love! XOXO
