I have a question: R24 has the genius feature that you can use the metronome track only on phones output, and it can be any audio track you have on SDcard (metronome with your voice or any other sound for example); does the R20 have the same function?
On R20, can I play a backing track wav on main out L+R and simultaneously other audio track as a metronome on the separated phones output?

If I record eight microphone signals through the eight XLR inputs on to an SD card as wave files, can I transfer all eight tracks into my DAW or only a stereo mix? I need eight separate, discrete audio tracks from a live gig that I can mix in ProTools. Also, are BWF and regular wave files compatible with most computer DAWs?

1) Is “importing a file” as described in this video something different that “importing a project” as indicated in the manual?
2) Besides the fact that the R20 has an additional SD card slot: Do the R12 and R20 essentially offer the same feature set when it comes to importing files/projects? Or is the functionality described in this video exclusive to the R20?

Very Specific Use Case Question:
Can I create an AUDIO folder on my phone (a Samsung Note 20 ULTRA)...
Download an emailed WAVE file onto my phone...
Put that WAVE file in that AUDIO folder...
and then IMPORT the WAVE file into the R20 when I connect the phone USB to the R20 USB port?

Hello, i have done ist so you discribe this. but it dond work. i put my wave in the folder audio, but when i wont selekt the file, when i have opend the projekt, no file will be seen. what is the problem? i tryed this 5 or 6 times. but no result. 😞

Everytime I try this I get an error that says "wrong number of channels. Select a track with the same number of channels". What does this mean?
