For an added bonus, you can replace the Dragocrest shield Talisman +2 with the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman. Not too difficult to get.

Didn't want to bother with the whole chariot thing so I just used whatever I had for the armor bottoms, but still all the negation made one hell of a difference! Thanks for the build i'm now using the sacred relic to farm runes at moghwyn palace lol

There's no game that defeats me. I even beat sekiro without parrying. I never learned to do that right. I was stuck on this guy for 2 days. Wearing holy resistant armor really helps

As a faith build I did't have the strength requirement to use the shield in the video but I used the beast jar shield +24 with sacred affinity and was able to beat the beast first try after watching this video. The talisman also helped a ton

Just wanted to share my guide with you all, i struggled a lot with this boss i found it harder then melenia but the thing you need to do is learn its attacks and when you use minic tear always stay away from the boss and be ready to attack it as soon as minic tear lands it's first hit as this will stop atleast one of his attacks and never roll backwards always stay calm and roll towards his right or left, you need to be very carefull with the rolls no extra roll and for the elden beast just try to keep atleast 10 heath bars when you get to 2nd phase and you are done

Thank You. I used Blasphemus Blade on Radagon. Changed up this build with Marikas soreseal instead of Old LOrd's. Helmet was Silver Tear. Rebuff your vow/fortification half way through the health bar. Used heavy hits when I got close.

Thanks so much - beat that bastard on 2nd try using this build, died like 40 times following other solutions :) Used in the end Blasphemous Blade for Radagon and Rivers of Blood katana with Haligtree Crest Greatshield for Elden Beast. Beat him today! Strange glitch left me temporarily invincible. Sliced him to pieces with rivers of blood katana. Ragadon was a real bastard with hella cheap shots. I feel as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!

Melania is really tough but the Elden beast is the hardest boss in the game to me. I beat Melania with the mimic tear and a bleed build in about 15 to 20 tries. I am over 50 tries on the two boss end game combo with no break in between. I am going to try this method. I am beyond frustrated with the Elden beast.
