My Memories of Yavapai Regional Medical Center: Gwen Sick

Recovering from back surgery is difficult, but Gwen Sick suspected her recovery was particularly rocky. Soon after her discharge from the Phoenix hospital where the surgery took place, the Paulden resident was in the Emergency Department at YRMC West. There, Emergency Department physicians collaborated with a YRMC physician who specializes in Hematology/Oncology to diagnose and treat Gwen’s life threatening and rare disorder.
