My Memories of YRMC: Prescott Valley Mayor Harvey Skoog

Prescott Valley Mayor Harvey Skoog remembers when a herd of pronghorn antelope roamed the land that now occupies Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) East. Mayor Skoog worked with YRMC leaders to bring the hospital to the community. Today, YRMC East is surrounded by valuable healthcare services – The BreastCare Center at YRMC, YRMC’s Family Birthing Center, The Vein Center at YRMC and more – that have grown up around the hospital. Mayor Skoog also credits YRMC East with attracting business to the community. And the antelope, they still have a home in the area, too.
