Got addicted to alcohol when i was 19 to deal with my depression and anxiety. Got to the point where I was downing a fifth every single night for a good 2 and a half years. Had the same conversation with the doctors who said at the rate I was going I'd probably have cirrhosis at 28 if I didnt change. I was terrified to feel without the liquor though I'm now 2 years sober and my life has changed in ways I couldve never imagined. This song brings tears to my eyes man.

My son passed 2 days before his 40th birthday in March 2024!!! Liver shut down, kidney failure, hospice! He passed peacefully at home.
It is no joke what alcohol does to your body. 20yrs of relentless love of drinking.

Us alcoholics don't get destroyed for no reason. There's something or multiple things we're trying to run from mentally. Lots of people don't understand what real addiction and depression is like. I hope he manages to stay away from the poison.

Your music is such an inspirational to me cause I went through the same I used to be an alcoholic. My life has never been easy growing up… depression was killing me and I turned to drinking and when I got pregnant with my son I stopped and then when I gave birth postpartum depression was even worst 😢 back to drinking but with god Grace long story short I’ve been sober going on 5 years 🙏🏼🤘🏼
