I lost my mom to cancer March last year, this song hits deep, very very deep. It can make you sad, happy, moody but most of all thoughtful . RIP MOM ❤️

This song was a pillar in my life. I was addicted to drugs really bad. I was arrested in Miami, on a Monday the city of Miami police arresting officer drives you to the jail, as opposed to Tuesday-Saturday you go in a paddy wagon with a group…I was in back on the cop car, I was already out on bond, I knew I wasn’t getting out anytime soon, and it’s so crazy how you can go from being free to being held against your will in a matter of seconds. And when you look out that window and see all the free people doing what you want, knowing you’re in someone else’s custody it’s a very sobering feeling. Anyways, the cop had the radio on, and this song came on. It was pretty much brand new at the time (December 2015) and I remember thinking to myself when I heard it, this is going to be one of my favorite songs of all time…once I got to jail, and went through booking (36 hrs later) I called my mom and had her put some money on my account and I bought a radio. I listened to it so much during my time there, always waiting to hear that song. Or under the bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers…switching back between 99 jams and the shark. What a time. Eventually I got sober, but not until 2020. Jan 10 is 4 years.

I remember taking my boys to martial arts and they played this song in the car. The first time I heard it I thought "oh, that's a catchy beat". Then I heard it again and thought, who is this man? I love that I had my boys young because they keep me young through music. Post has to be the only big name in music right now that doesn't have controversy surrounding him. He's made it by being passionate about his art and not for doing dumb crap on social media

it sure as hell did!! changed my life too and at the time, it was my 15 year old daughter that said to me “mom, you’ve got to listen to this song, you will love this guy”…. she was right. i follow him vehemently. With every new song he releases, or feature, or album, or whatever… one can see in the lyrics, one can hear and almost feel the maturation in his lyrics, his confidence, inflection/sound… he’s perfecting almost perfect machine already. I love the evolution in it, I get emotional sometimes, i feel as if we would laugh and laugh and hang out all night, just cool af… how can he not be? I mean, his unapologetic, purposeful, lack of propriety is refreshing; while still being respectful to women, it’s clear he has a moral compass. His favorite word is also my favorite work and will Ma’am and/or sir sandwich anyone older than me even if the tell me not to. 😆😂. i just love Richard Austin Post, he is breaking barriers with his unprecedented genre-crossing, absolutely magnificent music. I’m enjoying categories I haven’t enjoyed in years!!! I saw him at Firefly in De, he’s fu*#*+¥ A-May-Zing!!! Don’t stop Post, you are an inspiration🎉🥳😘

The more I learn about post the more I start to see him as an inspiration. And more in his lifestyle more than music for me. He just has this energy that can only be described as a vibe.
